Bus Fare: Hungarian-American in Cairo

Bus Fare: Hungarian-American in Cairo

How about some chicken schnitzel, chipotle mayo, and cooling cucumber salad on a big, soft hero bun with crisp lettuce and juicy tomatoes — served out the window of an orange school bus? Fried Ride, located in a small parking lot in Cairo where Route 23 meets Route 145, is serving up Hungarian specialties like lángos (cheesy fried flatbread) alongside made-to-order American snacks like fries, onion rings, and fried cheese.

The service is friendly and the menu can please even the pickiest eaters — just grab a chicken schnitzel platter (breaded chicken cutlets and fries) with sauces and pickles on the side. Fried Ride Food Truck is located on Malstrom Drive in Cairo, NY.
