Brewery LaHoff: Cozy Inside + Out
Brewery LaHoff is a cozy brewery located in the hamlet of Climax, New York. The taproom is tucked inside a fruit packing barn built around 1900 on the beautiful, tree-lined grounds of a former orchard and dairy farm. Open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, it’s great place to stop for a sip if you’re browsing the Coxsackie Antique Center, picking apples at Boehm Farm, visiting the historical Bronck House, or just biding some time before you head over to Red’s for dinner.
Inside the barn, you’ll find a wide selection of their seasonal, house-brewed beers and some indoor seating. If you’re rolling with a crowd, the covered outdoor tables make a great place to gather—with plenty of space for kids to spread out and play.
Though Brewery LaHoff doesn’t have a regular in-house menu, they do have frequent visits from food trucks and pizza pop-ups, which are listed on their Instagram @brewerylahoff. During our October visit, Fork’n' Food was providing the snacks and refreshments.
Brewery LaHoff is located at 50 Vedder Road, Climax, NY; 518-303-3340. Current hours of operation are Fridays 4-8 PM, Saturdays 1-8 PM, and Sundays 1-4 PM, but we highly recommend checking their Instagram @brewerylahoff for seasonal scheduling changes.
