Catskills + Hudson Valley Grocery Delivery + Safe Shopping During Coronavirus

Catskills + Hudson Valley Grocery Delivery + Safe Shopping During Coronavirus

The coronavirus outbreak has made grocery shopping a challenge in the Catskills, Hudson Valley, and Upstate New York. Worries about getting infected with Covid-19 have made the supermarket a scary place, and an influx of people who’ve migrated north to escape New York City have made essential groceries harder to obtain. We know this is a controversial issue. We want people to be nourished. We want businesses to survive.

We’re hunkered down in Brooklyn, but here’s our rainbow for our friends up north: A list of businesses that provide delivery or safely distanced curbside pick-up. During these uncertain times, farms, restaurants, and other businesses are constantly pivoting their offerings. To make sure info is accurate, please click through the links or call the numbers before you order. Add a comment if you see an error or have another business to add to the list. I’ll do my best to edit promptly. Special thanks to Chrissy at See and Be Kitchen (listed below) who inspires me with her untiring work to connect farmers and makers with the customers who need their goods. I’ll be reporting more soon on the work she is doing to nourish our entire community, including the most vulnerable among us.

For out-of-towners who’d like to support their favorite shops, check all the listings marked “Mail-order available.” Please stay home and stay safe.
